Important Information:

Two cohorts will be offered in Spring 2027

  • In-Person Teaching Cohort – designed for faculty who primarily teach face-to-face courses
  • Online Teaching Cohort – designed for faculty who teach online courses

Although both cohorts cover the same Promoting Active Learning content, the examples, activities, and discussions are tailored to each instructional modality.

Faculty must teach at least one online section in order to participate in the Online Pathway Cohort. 

Please select the cohort that you wish to participate in. Both pathways will be completed online, regardless of the selected cohort. You must teach at least one online section to participate in the Online Pathway cohort. *

This is a cohort-based, online, 6-week course. Faculty are expected to maintain consistant engagement in the course. Are you committed to 2-3 hours of work per week during the duration of this program? *
